ABOUT

Paige Warmington is a Brooklyn-based artist who works primarily in sculpture. They received their BA from Stanford University in 2022 and are currently a MFA candidate at Pratt Institute.

Her sculpture practice explores the bridge between personal and queer history. Drawn to the ephemeral nature of everyday objects, Warmington finds inspiration in the mundane, especially the trinkets and treasures that hold memories and emotions, shaping our collective sense of identity and belonging.

She creates to quiet the noise of existence, immersing herself in the act of making to find solace in the familiar embrace of the past. Through her work, she seeks to evoke a shared experience of comfort and introspection, inviting viewers to explore their own relationship with memory and nostalgia.

Her sculptures serve as conduits for reflection and dialogue, inviting viewers to reconsider the significance of the everyday and to find beauty in the overlooked and discarded. Through the lens of nostalgia, she explores the hidden narratives and forgotten voices that shape our collective consciousness.
