about the artist

Paige Warmington is a San Francisco based artist who received their BA from Stanford University in 2022.  With a background in interdisciplinary art, Warmington has recently shifted into creating mainly ceramic and wooden sculptures.

They imbue every sculpture they create with a sense of personal history and cultural significance. Drawn to the ephemeral beauty of everyday objects, Warmington finds inspiration in the trinkets and treasures that hold memories and emotions, shaping our collective sense of identity and belonging.

At the heart of their practice lies a fascination with both queer and personal history embedded within these seemingly ordinary artifacts. Through the lens of nostalgia, they explore the hidden narratives and forgotten voices that shape our collective consciousness.

Their sculptures serve as conduits for reflection and dialogue, inviting viewers to reconsider the significance of the everyday and to find beauty in the overlooked and discarded. By honoring the past, Warmington strives to create a space for healing and connection, where nostalgia becomes a source of strength and empowerment.
